Lifting the winners’ trophy is always a special feeling, but doing so at your home tournament is even more meaningful. Indonesia’s Novela Putria will be aiming to win the FIP Bronze Jakarta alongside Sandra Bellver. Earlier this year, the pair already claimed an Indonesian stop on the CUPRA FIP Tour, winning the FIP Bronze Yogyakarta. They are the tournament’s top seeds, but to lift the title they will have to overcome several highly competitive pairs, led by second seeds Dora Chamli and Anastasiia Ryzhova, finalists at the FIP Bronze Baku. Also among the leading contenders are Elsa Terranova and Angelina Neizvestnaya, who reached the title match at the FIP Bronze Singapore last May. Melati Anhar and Alba Gallardo are also among the entries.
In the men’s draw, several pairs will be in contention for the title. Top seeds are Diego Arredondo and Cristobal Garcia. Also among the standout pairs are Rashed Nawaf and Mashari Nawaf, Miguel Gonzalez and Dico Ganinduto, and Pablo Pastor and Kevin Uriel Kviatkovski. The main draw will begin tomorrow and conclude on Sunday, when the semi-finals and finals will be played.
